The Vassar Class of 2012 Facebook group is up and running. Oddly, the co-creator is a current freshman (as are many of its members). ED applicants heard from Vassar last week. The group has 67 members as of now.
Update: The creators both got accepted with the class of 2011 but deferred for a year - one in Wales and one in Israel.

the creator was accepted with this year's freshman, but deferred for a year to study in London if i remember correctly....so he is in the class of '12
its ridiculous when half of the group isnt actually in the class of 2012. i understand if a few current freshmen or upperclassmen join to answer questions on the group's wall, but when there are so many people who are current students here i think it gets weird.
i agree with 6:51, it's kind of creepy
seriously guys. CHILL with joining the group. i just looked at it and the majority of the discussion posts are from current freshman.
dont they have something better to do with their time... like study???
bitchezzz
might I just say... I HATE the phrase vass vass
stupid fuckin freshmen don't have shit to do. just go home already and get a seasonal job at sears
Awww.
hey 1:03, if you have so much shit to do and youre so pissed at the "fuckin freshmen" then why are you on mads reading blogs and commenting? if you are jealous that the freshmen dont have enough work, then maybe if you signed off mads and started your work, you might have a better chance at getting a life yourself.
12:57- I completely agree. "Vass-vass" is possibly the most nauseating nickname ever.
There should be a group for 2012, and then a group for 2012 to ask questions...
I'm happy for all those who got accepted. Looks like a right foxy crowd.
And no matter how much work we all have had, every grade finds time to procrastinate. I think there are better, less weird choices than joining a group for pre-freshman... but hey, I try not to judge...
hey it's cool to be a freshman, don't be so mean!
im the 'creator' and i didnt know ther were so manyy freshmen in it. but thats nice because they are answering a lot of questions for us who arent there yet. at vassar.
