aside from whether or not there should be a vassar fashion blog...
looking at the Wesleyan and Middlebury blogs in comparison to Mads Vassar makes Mads look sort of bad. Not in terms of content, just in terms of good-lookingness (web design). I thought the Wesleyan one was pretty well-done, and the Middlebury one was OK (a little bit on the unreadable side), but Mads is frankly kind of ugly.
the gray/purple/black/blue color scheme's gotta go, in my opinion
Contrast has a street fashion page, just so you know. And as much as it offends your anti-hipster mentalities, there's really nothing wrong with paying attention to fashion. It will always be superficial, and it will always be fun. If you want depth, lock yourself up and read some Hegel.
I agree with 10:01. The wesleyan one has a nicer logo, and way more links and features. maybe mads should have a better name - "views on vassar," maybe.

we need something like this at vassar... http://welldressedwes.blogspot.com/
No, we really really really don't. Contrast is already too much.
anonymous #2 has been planning on doing it.
i think street fashion blogs are great... they really challenge the superficialness of traditional fashion magazine (like say, 'contrast').
and by #2 i mean #3 since apparently #2 is speedy. or i also might mean #3+n.
