Sent In To Mads

Below is an email sent in to us by two Mads readers:

Dear Mads,

according to this blog I read today, the 18-29 year old segment of the population represents a measely 13 percent of the voters in the democratic primary so far. I think it would be stupid of us to overlook our collective influence on the process here at Vassar. We can't let the older generation make decisions for us. As someone who runs a blog that reaches a lot of people here, I encourage you to think about using your blog not just to reflect the trends on campus but also to occasionally ask something more of your readers.

We just sent in our absentee ballot, and we encourage you to do the same. First, you need to apply for one by contacting your local board of elections. Do it soon - your state's primary may be coming up.
