it isn't sam charner's fault. blame the vassar campus. We had the responsibility to come up with themes and to then vote for the best theme. Blame yourself if you don't like the theme.
in a way, yes. as a country, we voted for him (the second time), and we seem to always reelect and never challenge those 10 to 12 senate democrats who go along with him on every single issue of importance.
