One of the communal pink bikes was spotted outside of the DC. It was painted brown and the handlebars had been slightly altered. It was locked up with a personal lock.
Who does that?

At least v-cash swipers can't be painted and stolen.
Ummm...guys, shes probably the smartest person on campus. Long after all the pink bikes are used and abused, at least there will be one preserved. Sounds like an escape from the 'tragedy of the commons' by privatizing the resource. From an economic perspective - hats off to her.
if only any1 here was bothered to go out buy the necessary water/weather proof paints, paint those things from top to bottom and then use them...
OR OR MAYB! JST MAYB! SHE BOUGHT IT! WAT? WAT? WAT? think about it rite... thers this place like a bike store u following me here? its got all these things wit 2 wheels, seats and chains CRAZY! then then u go in and u can like give them green things and they give it to u and u can get them in different colors like pink or brown or yellow or rainbow or....
I've seen that bike and been pissed off by it. She didn't buy it herself. It's only been painted over with spray paint which is scratched off in some places. It was a total bitch move.
12:19 she is the smartest person on campus... you must really hang out with the dumb crowd. and taking one or two econ classes at vassar doesnt really make you such an authority on the subject.
1:12 -- how about this: vassar students who paid $10 didnt lock the bikes, let anyone use them, get drunk and throw them in the lake, take the seats off and so much more... saving one bike from the masses of abusive people and taking care of it sounds like a good idea to me.
you all are pretty damn stupid for posting on this site... and I must be dumb for reading it... and then posting... but still... you get what i mean.
and also... nobody ever thought that she might just have got her own pink bike and painted over it so as not to be suspicious. there is a blue bike outside raymond that is almost identical to the pink bikes and it has been spray painted over blue. My friends and I thought it was a pink bike only to be mistaken.

how about fuck "privatizing the resource" and learning not to abuse shit? you pay $10 for bike sharing, if you want your own go buy it your damn self.
Is it really that hard to spell out real words, 12:58?
word 10:41
Am I the only person who thinks this post might be a joke?
