vassar plays the race card...
Why don't you tell us what your name is, friend?
that's not even remotely true
don't blame "the system" for not getting the things you want
that is the one of the dumbest things i've ever read, anonymous 10:37. if you didn't get a position, did it occur to you that there are a significantly smaller amount of positions open for next year so a lot of perfectly qualified people won't get chosen for house teams?
that said, i'm a minority, and i didn't get SF when i applied two years ago. so if there is a bias for people of color, i guess the people selecting back then missed the memo.
race has absolutely nothing to do with it.
just look at the current cushing and noyes house teams, the same house advisor picked both. one is entirely white and predominantly male. the other is race and gender balanced.
dear all,
don't comment on a process you know nothing about. if you have questions, ask them. don't make ridiculous assumptions. they don't help anyone.
i agree with 11:04. go talk to res life if you have issues
i seriously think 10:37 wrote that just to piss people off.
there's a better, less bitter group here: http://vassar.facebook.com/group.php?gid=9080776452
