*Breaking News* McCain Chooses VP

As you probably heard already, John McCain has chosen Alaska's Gov. Sarah Palin as his running mate. This should certainly shake things up a bit. Palin is the first female Vice Presidential candidate in her party's history.

He needed some sex appeal.

Brilliant move...Obama is in trouble...

Obviously a gimmick to reel in Clinton voters. Still a smart move.

Absolutely ridiculous. With a resume like hers, she makes Obama look like he's been in the Senate for twenty-plus years. Also, I rather doubt that she's going to appeal to THAT many Clinton voters seeing as she's strongly pro-life, against gay marriage, and for capital punishment and gun rights (she's a member of the NRA).

Yes, but she's going to appeal to all the old school conservatives that don't like McCain and maybe wouldn't have voted.

can you imagine a foreign policy debate between her and biden? she will look like a fool.

This is utter hypocrisy on McCain's part. For months he has been saying that experience is one of the most important qualities to be commander-in-chief, and then he, the oldest non-incumbent major party candidate, picks a running-mate with absolutely no experience.

i was watching NBC or some such channel listening to this announcement, and when they were discussing her experience, they cited "member of the local PTA." i kid you not.

Great...now if McCain wins and dies, we're stuck with somebody who is more conservative (and probably stupider) than Bush is. I can't believe this. What a joke.

She's pro-life even for rape and incest.

And McCain has only met and talked to her once - according to his own advisors.

It's a disgrace to the legacy that Hillary Clinton left behind. She is nothing more than a token pick, with the patriarchy using her for its selfish ends.

SHE SCARES THE CRAP OUT OF ME

McCain sure is getting desperate.
This just makes me even more certain I'm voting for Obama.
