*Breaking News* Obama Chooses Running Mate

Mads has been trying to stay away from political posts lately, but this story is clearly post-worthy.

As you probably know already, Barack Obama has chosen Senator Joe Biden as his running mate.

What do you think of Obama's decision?

he sounds a bit controversial, what with his snide comments about Obama and original support of the war...
but he's got experience and does help balance out the ticket nicely...

ugh hate biden.

wasn't him who just recently said he'd back up mccain? and now he's running with obama? who all of a sudden he agrees with? i think this choice will hurt obama, and im no mccain supporter but obama just lost my vote too. this election is terrible.

not only does he have experience and foreign policy expertise that obama lacks, but he also can relate to the working class, which will help counterbalance the view of obama as an elitist intellectual upper class liberal... overall i think it was a wise choice, despite the fact that biden is rather prone to making controversial comments.

i was watching the news this morning and even the right wing commentators had only good things to say about biden.

4:44, joe biden did not say he would back mccain. perhaps you are confusing him with joe lieberman?

I like him. Delaware doesn't get enough respect. Maybe now it will.

Please, please still vote. Obama needs to win this election.

PUMP, PUMP, PUMP IT UP!

oh wait...that's Joe Budden.

ahaha, I'm from Delaware. While Biden DOES have the foreign policy expertise to balance the ticket, the man is a walking political gaffe.
If he so much as opens his mouth, the Dems will have little to no chance of taking the WH.

biden has a cruel and ridiculously harsh mouth. if he opens that foul mouth once to the wrong person, consider it over. funny how in the past two decades since he attempted to run for pres in 1988 he's been known for his racial slurs and other distasteful comments. and a perfect example for liberals being "flip-floppers"

definitely a plus for the republicans

I think Biden was a great choice. His comments are actually funny (heaven forbid a politician actually lighten up and make a joke). Too bad he was written off so early for his comments actually complementing Obama, but now is his time. He is not a Democratic "flip-flopper", since he has already gone further than Obama in voting against the legalization of Bush's unconstitutional wiretapping and opposing military action in Iran.

Obama/Biden 08
