By Word Of Mouth...STD Scandal

A certain Vassar alumnus and former president of The Friends of the Frances Lehman Loeb Art Center is being sued by his wife after he gave her sexually transmitted diseases.

According to yesterday's New York Post, the FLLAC trustee got the STDs while having "unprotected sexual relations with commercial sex workers in China and Japan." His wife is now suing him for $25 million.

We did some digging and found out that this alumnus is responsible for those poetry-inscribed benches by Noyes Circle, according to a 2006 issue of The Misc.

Vass-related dramz, noteworthy news (for us at least), using enough restraint that we have to find out the individuals' names on our own time... all in all, great post mads!

HA! but that sucks for the poor wife. never a fun thing to learn.

Why are her STDs worth 25 million dollars? If this happened to a couple with a more normal economic status, she would never feel remotely justified demanding 25 million. I find that odd.

What kind of STD? I'm curious.

PS I don't ever get how people come up with such things as, my STD = 25 million dollars worth..

OK, in answer to the "how do people come up with this 'my STD is worth 25 million'".....these are formulae of lawyers, claims in settlement of divorce and distribution...so, yes, if a Bob and Jane have a net worth of $2500 dollars, jane would ask for $2500...but if a Stephanie and Mark have a net worth of $25 MILLION, then Stephanie's lawyer asks for, you guessed it, $25 MILLION.
