For those of you on campus already wondering what the deal is with the cows on the construction fence by Davison, here is your explanation. From the campus newsletter:
"It's been years since Vassar served milk from the college's own herd of Holsteins, but the heifers have recently returned to pasture on Joss Beach, providing a soothing distraction from the nearby Davison renovation."
A local artist made the designs with spray paint and stencils.

1. those cows are heinous
2. that seriously fence thing seriously impedes quad square footage and short cut-ing
not a happy camper
I like the cows!
lol @ the description of the cows as a soothing distraction
Is that seriously what our tuition money pays for?
10:02 and 11:10 need to chill. The cows liven up those barriers which exist to pen off Davison and the construction, not only protecting us from possible mishaps and the dust of renovation but also giving the workers space which will not be intruded upon by Vassar students' shortcuts.
