According to sources, Cushing will be turning away partygoers dressed in "inappropriate clothing" from this Saturday's DayGlo/Toga Party.
This decision obviously comes in response to various Cushing residents encouraging others to come dressed scantily clad, keeping that tradition alive.
Update: Cushing President Mat Leonard '11 tells Mads this is "not true." Togas will be provided at the door, but no one will be turned away.
Another DayGlo rumor put to rest.

cush house team needs to get their act together... the soph rep says one thing, the president another....
Noyes and VT are also hosting this event!
Even still, this is not scantily clad! Leave the drama at home.
this is so silly! this is not an issue of "Cushing not having its act together," this is an issue of unofficial ideas from a committee meeting becoming "official" news, or at least as official as any news is via the blog format. maybe this can be a time where we all take a step back and contemplate the changes to informational media that the internet has wrought.
or, we can just have a flame war.
this is good journalism
I'm not on campus now, so could somebody explain something to me? If people want to have a Scantily Clad party, then why don't they? Has it been prohibited by somebody?
they aren't having it because the number of sexual assaults and hospitalizations from alcohol shot up on the night they had it last year.
man toga/scantily clad/whatever, I'm definitely getting a bad feeling about this night.
This is also a NOYES party too. no one shows Noyes any love... just saying
I'm on one of the house teams and I can confirm that people who appear violently drunk WILL be turned away. So, if they look like they'll be a danger to themselves or anyone else, they'll be turned away... there was even a training session for this today.
like it or not, I'm getting violently drunk
me and all my friends are coming in thongs
