We hear that some bathrooms in academic buildings will be converted to gender-neutral bathrooms during Winter Break. Apparently the reason there were no gender-neutral bathrooms previously was because of discrepancy over what signs to use.

These would mainly be single stall bathrooms, like ones you find in other public areas...
but boys always pee on the seat. gross.

i don't think this is anything close to the ideal place to have this dialogue, but want to put it out there that I STRONGLY SUPPORT the decision to switch to gender neutral bathrooms.
If they are only single stall bathrooms, what's the big deal? Aren't most of such bathrooms in America open to both sexes?
The idea is fine. Let's just get rid of the term "gender-neutral."
as long as i have a lock on the door to the stall, i really don't give a shit who pees or poops next to me. just put the seat up, boys.
yeah, just think of airplanes or like, any bathroom in a house. so not a big deal and if it makes the world a more inclusive place for some - it's worth it.
There better not be any urinals in them. I get sick everything i think of those sexist devices.
