no, but my passion for the game is real.

I have no problem with the quidditch team, what they do doesn't effect me at all. As an athlete, however, I don't want them to turn into the frisbee team and start demanding money from athletics.

affect, not effect

THIS TEAM HAS EVERY RIGHT TO FUNDING FROM ATHLETICS. THEY HAVE A TEAM. THEY NEED MONEY FOR EQUPIMENT, TRANSPORTATION, WANDS, POTIONS, ETC! THEY SPEND GALLEONS EVERY YEAR OUT OF THEIR OWN POCKETS!

the frisbee team IS an athletic team.

yay for chestnut hill college!

Frisbee is not an ATHLETIC team (which does not mean they are not athletes and are not part of a team.) They get their money from the VSA and not from the athletics department. If the VSA money isn't enough they either need to a) ask for money, b) fundraise more, or c) do a better job managing their budget.

It was an issue two years ago when they made it to nationals and bitched when the athletics department wouldn't give them $$$.

ugh just get rid of athletics entirely.

everyone on the sports teams can go to college elsewhere, and the rest of us wouldn't care.

6:34...still angry about the "jocks" that picked on you in high school? Get to know a few athletes, you'll find they're just like you.
