'Monster Mash' Has A New Ring To It
Oct 31, 2008
Story by: Joe Puglisi

Bobby Pickett, the iconic voice of the spook tune classic, "Monster Mash," has been immortalized forever by his daughter, Nancy Huus. Pickett passed away in April, 2007, after complications pertaining to leukemia. Before he died, his daughter discussed the possibility of turning his cremated remains into a LifeGem, a colorless diamond to be worn as a ring. Pickett loved the idea, and his spirit is now embodied forever in a diamond ring worn by Huus. Headquartered in Elk Village, Illinois, LifeGem specializes in preserving the carbon of loved ones in high quality diamonds.
