I thought his talk was really interesting and informative... but did anyone else think he came off as a bit of a jerk?
the jerks were the idiots complaining about media corporations or whatever. soooo annoying.
amen 3:42. what a waste of time they were
he did come off as sort of arrogant. and even though the talk was good, I thought his public speaking skills were lacking. he read the whole thing right off the paper.
those stupid activists, once again, ruined everything.
I can't tell if you guys are serious or not.
What annoyed me abou the activists was that once they made their point, they kept asking the same quetion over and over. What did they think he was going to do, break down and say, "Oh, you're right. I'm an evil corporate stooge! Forgive me!"Once you ask your question and you get his answer, enough already. Don't assume he'll crack if you keep hammering away at him mercilessly. You're just making yourselves look shrill and obsessive and annoying the rest of us who wanted to hear the guy talk and aren't fixated on your agenda.
agreed. he's a Vassar alum that took time out his really busy schedule to come and talk to us. I thought some of the stuff they were saying was legitmate, but they came off as increeedibly disrespectful, especially at the end after a lady asked the last question. he wasn't there for a debate, he was there to explain his point of view on a certain topic.
i agree with the guy in the kick coke threads who was saying let\'s please just send those activists to war torn countries so they can help and be revolutionaries like they so desparetly want. could we?? only the annoying ones.
but that guy really was kind of an ass. whether people were asking annoying questions or not. he really didn't respond well to being challenged in his opinions.
what does her shirt say in the pic?
Doesn't the College pay taxes? If not, we shud donate.
1:26, her shirt says, "I may be broke, but I'm not flat busted."Oh dear, Sarah Palin.
