Not Spring Just Yet

Looks like Spring Break doesn't mean sun for Vassar. A severe weather alert is in effect for Poughkeepsie. From weather.com:

"WINTER STORM WATCH IN EFFECT FROM SUNDAY EVENING THROUGH MONDAY AFTERNOON...

THERE IS THE POTENTIAL FOR 7 OR MORE INCHES OF SNOW TO ACCUMULATE ACROSS THE WATCH AREA. SNOW WILL DEVELOP FROM SOUTH TO NORTH SUNDAY NIGHT...AND LAST THROUGH MUCH OF MONDAY. THE SNOW MAY BE HEAVY AT TIMES...ESPECIALLY LATE SUNDAY NIGHT INTO EARLY MONDAY MORNING. NORTH TO NORTHEAST WINDS OF 15 TO 20 MPH WITH GUSTS TO 30 MPH... MAY CAUSE SOME BLOWING AND DRIFTING SNOW...WHICH WOULD CONSIDERABLY REDUCE THE VISIBILITY AT TIMES.

A WINTER STORM WATCH MEANS THERE IS A POTENTIAL FOR SIGNIFICANT SNOW... SLEET...OR ICE ACCUMULATIONS THAT MAY IMPACT TRAVEL. CONTINUE TO MONITOR THE LATEST FORECASTS."

Hopefully conditions will be ok in time for leaving later in the week.

Umm, wasn't it 61 degrees yesterday?
