In other Beirut news, music bloggers are already posting their reviews of last night's Beirut show at the Brooklyn Academy of Music, which featured the Vassar Orkestar."Using more instruments than were visible to my eyes (uke, double bass, trumpet, horn, drums etc.) the band played like pros. Half of the set contained a full orchestra of youngsters (college band maybe?) and whilst it was hard to fully hear Zach’s banter with the audience, the songs were clear and intense, going from quiet to soaring effortlessly.
