Apparently recent Vassar grad Meg Prossnitz '08 has come to represent Generation Y in the era of economic uncertainty. Or so an article in yesterday's New York Post says.
"I thought at least by now I'd be living on the Lower East Side or Williamsburg and, I don't know, have my photo all over PatrickMcMullan.com," Prossnitz told the Post. Instead she is living in Bed-Stuy with "no paying job in sight."
"The stark new reality, of course, is that life is not The Hills. Many Gen Yers now have to settle for a job at odds with their quest for meaning, affirmation, and fun," says the article.
Nice to know what awaits us after graduation!
