There Are No Vassar Students In Egypt

[via NY Times]
Yesterday we posted messages from D.C. Mungo '10, a Vassar graduate who was living in Egypt. A few days ago, D.C. left the country for Syria and it looks like most other American students are doing the same.

Columbia's Bwog reports that their school's students were evacuated yesterday and will return to New York today. Two Brown students and twenty-two Middlebury students were also evacuated from a separate program.

Vassar, on the other hand, doesn't have to worry about any evacuations. "When the protests first started over a week ago we checked to see if we had any students in Egypt this semester," a rep for the Study Away office exclusively tells Mads. "Fortunately we do not."
